Jordan Cotcher joined North Tyneside Council Work Based Learning as a bricklaying apprentice. Jordon excelled, showing real skills and flair for his craft. His dedication to the trade and his fantastic skills have secured Jordan a full-time job as a bricklayer with a well-known local building company, Bett Homes. Jordan is now starting his Advanced Apprenticeship and looks set for a great career in the building industry. Jordon said, "My time at the Skills and Enterprise Centre from school to the present has enabled me to develop my hand skills and mental ability and achieve my apprenticeship and get a job. I have been allowed to progress and mature at my own rate, which has honed my skills, and I would like to thank my instructors for their dedication and support." Jordon's instructor, Gurdeep, said, "He’s a pleasure to work with and has shown great dedication and application. He has a really bright future in the construction industry and I wish him all the luck in the future."
